I got six eyeshadows and a black Z-palette to put them in. Similar to the shadows, the Z-palettes were also incredibly difficult to get as all Makeup Geek eyeshadows are sold as pans, so your only way of safely storing them is to put them in a Z-palette of some sort. A lot of people just buy empty MAC palettes, or put their Makeup Geek shadows in with their MAC ones, but my palette didn't have enough space so I just opted for a small Z-palette that holds 9 shadows. It also comes with magnets so you can adhere shadows that you depot into your palette too!
I chose five eyeshadows from their regular line, and one of their new duochrome shadows. The shades I got, from the top in the photo above, are Peaches and Cream, Latte, I'm Peachless, Shimma Shimma, Mango Tango and Bada Bing. The number one eyeshadow on my list was Cocoa Bear but I believe it was the first one to sell out, so hopefully I'll get it next time!
(L-R) Peaches and Cream, Latte, I'm Peachless, Shimma Shimma, Mango Tango, Bada Bing
All of the shades are absolutely beautiful, and as you can see from the swatches, they're highly pigmented. I can't wait to properly play with them and share some looks!
The Makeup Geek eyeshadows are €6.80 each from BeautyBay.com and the Z Palette is €7.00.
Will you be getting some Makeup Geek shadows when they're back in stock?
Zara :-) x
I picked up Shimma Shimma and Latte too :) I'm definitely checking out Peaches and Cream for my inevitable next order when it's all back in stock! xx
