Winter Wonderland Makeup With NYX!

When it comes to drugstore brands, NYX is definitely at the top of my list - their products are of the highest quality and they release some really innovative products. Today I'm going to be showing you some of my favourite NYX products to achieve the ultimate Winter Wonderland look. 

NYX Slide On Eye Pencil in Sunrise Blue, €7

I actually shortened the name of the eye pencil for the title - its full name is the NYX Slide On, Glide On, Stay On & Definitely A Turn On Waterproof, Extreme Shine Eye Liner. That is the full name on the pencil! In brackets it also says that this eyeliner is so good that the name had to be this long. Okay NYX, I will forgive you for the ridiculously long name purely because it is an incredible eye pencil! It's a soft, creamy eye pencil that is perfect for any use, really. You can use it as an eyeliner on the lids, as long as you work quickly with it, as once it sets, it's not going anywhere! It's creamy enough to smudge out to create a beautiful blue gradient, but as it's waterproof it's also the perfect option for all day wear on the waterline. 

NYX Baked Blush in Spanish Rose

This is probably the item I'm most excited about in this post - the NYX Baked Blushes launched in the US last year and every beauty guru under the sun went crazy for them. I'm so happy that they're finally here in Ireland, and that they live up to the hype! I have the shade Spanish Rose here, which is a brilliant dupe for one of my all-time favourite blushes, which is MAC's Dainty Mineralise Blush. It's a soft blush that doesn't feel powdery or chalky, and it's very finely milled. The selection of shades is brilliant so there's definitely something for everyone.

NYX Jumbo Pencils in Milk and Rocky Mountain Green, €4.99 each

Arguably the stars of the NYX show, the Jumbo Pencils are one of those staple beauty buys that every makeup lover seems to have in their stash. It's easy to see why these are such popular products as there is absolutely no way to fault them. They're inexpensive, creamy, long-wearing and there are some beautiful shades to choose from. I've swatched both shades below for you but I'm sure all of you are familiar with Milk - it's a cult beauty product! I couldn't recommend these pencils enough for a quick, simple makeup look that'll take you from day to night.
