What I Got For Christmas 2015!

I hope you all had a great Christmas and wishing you a very happy New Year! I can't believe how quickly this year has flown by. For today's blog post I'm going to be doing my what I got for Christmas blog post. This is my second year doing this, and this is actually going live on the same date last year's did - the 29th! I'm so grateful for all the gorgeous gifts I received, I was completely spoilt as per usual. There was nothing I really asked for this Christmas, so I just gave my mum a few ideas and let her pick out some bits for me - she did brilliantly as always! This post is a little lengthy as I've included lots of pictures, so perhaps you want to get some of those left-over sweets to nibble on as you go through this!

From the children I babysit, I got this gorgeous L'Occitane gift box that comes with loads of mini versions of their best selling products. I love L'Occitane products so I've been really enjoying trying out some new products of theirs. I'm currently loving the Almond Shower Oil!

My brother's girlfriend got me these adorable Minion fluffy socks! She also kindly gave me a voucher for Brown Thomas, which I think I'm going to use to get the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation.

If you saw last year's blog post, you'll remember that I'm a huge Frozen fan, so my sister got me some Frozen bits. She got me this gorgeous Frozen blanket that's so soft - I already have it on my bed! Secondly she got me an iPad case with Elsa on it. I love it, it's going to be so handy when I start back at uni so I can take my iPad with me!

My older brother completely spoilt me this year. About two weeks ago he gave me my Christmas present early, which was the Urban Decay Vice 4 palette. Naturally, I didn't expect anything else. On Christmas Day he surprised me with the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette! I absolutely love it, I've been using it every day since I got it - expect a blog post soon!

Under the tree from my parents this year I received a Filofax! I love new stationary and I've wanted a proper Filofax for the longest time, so I can't wait to get back to uni to start using it! It's the personal Filofax in the Blossom design if you're wondering.

Now on to my Santa presents! The first thing I saw when I came down on Christmas morning was this 5 Seconds Of Summer 2016 Calendar. As you all probably know at this stage, I'm a huge 5 Seconds Of Summer fan so I'm looking forward to using this in the New Year! Hopefully alongside my Filofax it'll keep me organised!

Keeping on the band theme, the next present I unwrapped was the One Direction Our Moment perfume. It's one of my favourite scents and I recently ran out of it, so I'm glad to have another one in my collection!

Next up is the Real Techniques Bold Metals Set. I only have one other brush from the Bold Metals Collection and I love it so I'm delighted with these. The brushes look beautiful and they're so soft. I always struggle to use new brushes at first though because I hate getting them dirty! The set comes with the tapered blush brush, the oval shadow brush, and an angled powder brush which is a set exclusive.

I finally got Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk lip cheat. I've wanted this for as long as Charlotte Tilbury's range has been out, but I just never got around to buying it for myself. I've been wearing it every day since Christmas. I love pairing it with Tom Ford's Spanish Pink lipstick!

I got a pair of Olaf pyjamas, which are just adorable! I also got three pairs of Disney underwear from Topshop, which I love. I got Beauty and The Beast, which is my favourite movie, a pair with all the Disney Princesses on them, and a pair with Mickey and Friends on them. Love!

I'm obsessed with contouring so I was over the moon to unwrap these Smashbox Contour Sticks. There's a highlighter, bronzer and contour stick that are so creamy and easy to blend. I've only used them once so I'm still trying to get the hang of them - watch this space!

I've been really struggling with my skin of late, so I was so excited to get the Liz Earle Radiant Skin Classics set. It comes with a full size of her Hot Cloth Cleanse and Polish, a travel sized moisturiser and toner. It also comes with two muslin cloths. So far I've been absolutely loving this set so expect an updated skin care routine soon!

This present really shocked me when I opened it! I had shown Mum a picture of the Hourglass Ambient Edit palette as I thought it was beautiful, but it was ridiculously expensive so I didn't even put it on my Christmas list. I've always wanted to try an Hourglass powder so I couldn't believe it when I found it under the tree on Christmas morning! I have yet to try this palette so I'll keep you updated, but I'm sure I'll fall in love with it like the rest of the beauty world has!

Another gorgeous surprise was this Michael Kors card holder. In uni I always have loads of cards with me that I had been storing in a little 5 Seconds Of Summer card holder I got in HMV last year! So my parents thought it would be nice to get me a decent card holder that actually has slots for the different cards I need every day. I'm in love with it, it's perfect! It has two slots on either side, and then a pocket in the middle for cash.

Finally, yesterday my parents and I went to pick up my brand new MacBook Air laptop! I've wanted a MacBook for years so when I started my first job back in the summer I decided to save up my tips to buy myself one. When I opened my savings tin on Christmas Eve I had a little over half the amount of the laptop, so Dad gave me the rest of the money and I got it yesterday. I'm completely obsessed with it, I can't put it down!

So that is everything I got for Christmas this year! I'm in love with everything I got, I'm a very lucky girl.

What did you get for Christmas this year?

Zara :-)x
