Having good quality makeup brushes is an absolute essential for decent makeup application, but apart from Real Techniques, there aren't many good budget brushes to be found. Even with Real Techniques, I feel like they do an excellent job with face brushes, but I personally would like them to bring out a few more eye brushes.
Recently I was looking at my local Essence stand, and found this blending brush. It instantly reminded me of MAC's 224 brush, which is a tapered blending brush.
The Essence Eye Blender has incredibly soft bristles - softer than some of my more expensive brushes, in fact. It picks up product really well and blends eyeshadows seamlessly. I normally use it to apply colour to the crease or to blend out the eyeshadows at the end.
I find myself reaching for this brush more than my MAC 217, as I feel like it gives a softer finish and is easier to blend with.
The brush washes well too - I just use regular shampoo and it dries quite quickly, while maintaining its original shape.
The best part of this brush is the price - the Essence Eye Blender Brush is a mere €1.79. So this is your cue - go buy out your local Essence stand!
What's your favourite blending brush?

This sounds like an incredible brush and for a fraction of the Mac 217 - definitely going to pick this up!

I had no idea Essence did brushes, their stand in Wilkinsons only seems to have makeup. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this :)
