Powder 'n' Pout HD Buffer Brush P230 Review

When it comes to trying out new products for the blog, my favourite things to test out are makeup brushes. As I've said plenty of times, it's incredibly difficult to find good quality brushes at decent prices, so when a new brand brings out a brush range I'm always fully behind it to see how their brushes perform. Today we're talking about Powder 'n' Pout's P230 Stippling Brush. This brush was going to have to be a game-changer for me as I've become one of those people who exclusively uses their Beauty Blender for just about everything.

I'm delighted to tell you that this brush has converted me back to my stippling brush-using ways. The P230 is the softest stippling brush I've ever owned - it's incredibly comfortable to use on the face. I find that sometimes the bristles on stippling brushes can be incredibly stiff and uncomfortable to use, but that's certainly not the case here. The lovely lady behind Powder 'n' Pout, Aisling Cunningham, recommends stippling or dabbing the product onto your face and using light circular movements to blend it in to give a lovely airbrushed finish to the skin.

The P230 is a mixed length flat top buffer brush that makes for easy foundation or powder application. It's a super soft duo fibre brush that has synthetic and natural goat hair fibres. As you can see from the picture above, it's the perfect size for your makeup bag - I love smaller handle brushes as they're just so much more compact and it makes me want to take them with me during the day.
Well, Powder 'n' Pout, you've certainly produced a winner in my eyes. The P230 ticks every box for me in terms of performance, how easy it is to wash, and the price point. The HD Buffer Brush P230 is €14.99 and available online at powdernpout.com. Perfect stocking filler if you ask me!

What's your favourite way of applying foundation?

  1. Lovely post! I really need some new brushes, I have never tried these as I always stick to the main 'big' brands but this was really interesting x
