Living Nature Nourishing Day Cream Review!
If you've read my blog for a while, you'll know how much I love the Living Nature Hydrating Toning Gel - I've gone through so many of them at this stage! The Living Nature range is absolutely fantastic, the products are exceptional for their price.
I was overjoyed when the sister product of my beloved Toning Gel arrived at my door - the Living Nature Nourishing Day Cream. I've previously tried the Living Nature Balancing Day Lotion, and I loved it, so the standard has been set fairly high.
Read on to see how myself and the Nourishing Day Cream got on....
The Living Nature Nourishing Day Cream is a nutrient-rich moisturiser that rejuvenates the skin and draws moisture with active Manuka honey. The consistency is very thin - it's almost like water on your face, but it blends in so easily. To me, this is the perfect day moisturiser - it absorbs quickly, it's non-greasy and it's lightweight. When it comes to day creams, I much prefer a light, water-like consistency as it's easier to apply makeup on top of it.
This cream is marketed towards people with normal to dry skin, however it works exceptionally well with my oily skin. Despite how oily my skin is, my cheeks can become incredibly dry and this cream combated the dryness perfectly. A little bit goes a long way with it, just a pea sized amount is enough to moisturise your whole face. A quick tip on that note - don't squeeze out a huge blob of it, as I learned from experience, it's incredibly difficult to blend in if you use too much! I imagine this is due to the light consistency, so keep that in mind.
I really love the packaging of the Nourishing Day Cream - its semi-cylindrical container makes it so easy to store away and even to bring in your makeup bag. The plastic container is also incredibly sturdy and prevents you from squeezing too much product out.
The Nourishing Day Cream contains all natural ingredients, and has a very nice, light scent - it reminds of the fragrance of Lush products. Despite liking the smell, I appreciate that the scent goes away once you apply the moisturiser to your face - I hate moisturisers with a lingering smell!
The Living Nature Nourishing Day Cream is available here from Botanical Brands and is priced at £31. As I always say, I think good skincare is an investment so I'll definitely be repurchasing this once I finish the one I'm using at the moment!
What's your favourite moisturiser?
