Here at The Glamourelle, you all know I love a good dupe. I don't believe in paying well over the odds for a product if a cheaper alternative is available. When this little gem arrived at my doorstep, to say I was excited would be an understatement!
When Urban Decay released the Naked 3 palette in 2013, many people were doubtful over how much use they would get out of the rose-toned neutrals. This is a completely understandable worry for two reasons - if you're a fan of golds and browns, it's quite a step up, and secondly, the Naked palettes are on the expensive side. What I recommend to people who say that they're somewhat afraid of going for a palette like the Naked 3, is to get a good dupe and experiment with the colours before investing a lot of money on the real deal.
I've tried quite a selection of Naked 3 dupes, and this one is by far the best I've ever tried, both in terms of colour match and overall quality and pigmentation. It is the I Heart Makeup I Heart Obsession palette in 'Pure Cult.' It's an absolute doppleganger for the Naked 3 - so let's do a more in-depth comparison and some swatches!
The Pure Cult palette contains 10 eyeshadows - 4 matte and 6 shimmers. There is only one colour in this palette that I wouldn't compare to a shade that's in the Naked 3.
I would say in some cases the shadows in the Pure Cult palette are actually nicer than those in the Naked 3. As some of the shadows are so shimmery in the Naked 3, they have quite a thick glitter in them, whereas the Pure Cult shadows are incredibly soft and buttery. They are equally as pigmented as the colours in the Naked 3, but there's no fallout at all.
Here are side by side swatches of both palettes - the Pure Cult shadows aren't named so I just wrote in the name of the Urban Decay shadow that it duplicates!
As I said, these are comparable in every single way - the quality, pigmentation and wear of these shadows are fairly identical.
The only difference? The huge price gap! The Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, while it is absolutely beautiful, will set you back a cool €46, when the Pure Cult palette is only £3.99.
The I Heart Makeup I Heart Obsession palettes are available now from Makeup Revolution stands. There are five in the range and I will have another one reviewed next week so be sure to check back for that! (spoiler - it's equally as fabulous as this one is!)
What do you think - is this the most impressive Urban Decay Naked 3 dupe out there?!

Everyone loves a good dupe, myself included. I am really craving the naked 3 for my birthday or something, but I might just get a dupe instead seeing as I have the other two and I'm not sure how much I'll use the third. It is so beautiful though.
