Beauty Staple: Dr PawPaw Multi Purpose Balms!

Friday, 6 March 2015

I feel like as a beauty blogger, there are certain products you must try in order to become a fully fledged member of the community. One of those things is the famous Dr PawPaw balm. I've been unable to find it anywhere, so there are no words to describe my excitement when the lovely people at Dr PawPaw offered to send me some to play with.

As always, the beauty blogging community are right: This is an absolute staple product that everyone needs in their life. Period. Read on to find out why...

The yellow Dr PawPaw is the original multi purpose balm that can be used to cure just about any ailment you may have - dry lips, irritated skin, minor abrasions, or even as a makeup primer!
I used mine as a makeup primer first, and I was completely shocked at how amazing my base looked over it. It feels exactly like smearing Vaseline all over your face, in the most pleasant way possible! It soaks in immediately and leaves your skin feeling baby-soft. It's the ultimate canvas for a flawless face. It's also completely non-sticky, thank goodness!

Due to the pure and utter stress that are the mocks, my skin has been all over the place recently and completely dry and irritated. I've been using the Dr PawPaw on it every time I wash my face and the difference is unbelievable.

This is one of those products that I now can't imagine myself being without. It comes in a handy little 25ml tube, which means it can accompany me everywhere and anywhere.

And now here is where this post becomes even more exciting - Dr PawPaw now has a sister! This pink tube is the same as her brother in terms of ingredients and uses, however she has a pink tint so the primary focus can be on makeup application.

Dr PawPaw Tinted Peach Pink Balm can be used to add moisture to the lips with a tint of pink, or to add a natural glow to the eyelids, cheeks or anywhere you feel like a bit of a tint is necessary. I've been loving this as a lip balm and incredibly subtle blush - it's perfect for those days where less is more. It also reminds me of the type of product the Victoria's Secret models use that look so ridiculously natural.

Each balm contains natural fermented pawpaw, which has healing properties so this is an essential in your handbag for everything that's thrown at you.

Both Dr PawPaw balms are available from McCabes Pharmacy, Harvey Nichols and Urban Outfitters, to name a few. You can also visit their website here. Each balm is €8.99/£6.95, so be sure to grab as many as your arms can hold. You won't regret it, I promise!
