Too Faced Melted Lipsticks Review!
Too Faced have always been a popular brand, however in the last year or so they have brought out some of the most hyped beauty products, namely my beloved Chocolate Bar palette.
A release that garnered quite a lot of interest were the Melted lipsticks. The revolutionary lippies were an instant hit that everyone wanted in on.
Admittedly, I'm rather late to the Melted lipsticks party, but sure better late than never!
In New York I picked up a pack of four mini lipsticks to play with, and it was love at first swatch.
Firstly, I love the packaging of these lipsticks so much, they hit the nail on the head with everything - the font, the smooth tube and the applicator.
As you can see, the applicator is a little sponge tip that disperses just the right amount of product. Too Faced themselves say that there is ''no brush needed'' due to the ''innovative, angled velvet tip.'' While I agree with their statement, personally I like to outline my lips before application, solely because these lipsticks are highly pigmented, and my non-existent lips can't quite cope with that without the aid of an outline!
I have four different shades to swatch for you - Melted Nude, Melted Peony, Melted Fuchsia and Melted Berry. These are four fairly neutral, easy to wear colours but Too Faced recently launched some more bold choices to join the Melted family, including a blue one! Not quite sure if I'll be purchasing, but it looks pretty cool!
There honestly aren't enough words to describe how excellent these products are - they're so rich and intense. The pigmentation is impeccable, and the colour distributes so evenly across your lips. They feel incredibly smooth and buttery when you apply them, and they leave a bit of a stain to ensure increased longevity.
Each Melted lipstick lasted about 6 hours on me, without touch-ups, even after eating.
At the moment, my favourite of the four I own is Melted Berry, which I love pairing with Rimmel's Wine lip pencil. I definitely feel myself gravitating towards Melted Fuchsia as well, so I'm already citing it as my go-to lip colour for the spring/summer time!
The Too Faced Melted Lipsticks are €23/£19 each, and are worth every cent in my opinion - they are my staple lip colours at the moment!
What shade is your favourite?

Wow! These look good and as though they have a lot of pigmentation as well as staying power. These are so tempting. I also love the variety of colours and would love to see the bolder colours they release.
