Make-Up Of The Day featuring MAC X Kelly Osbourne's 'Dodgy Girl' lipstick!

Today's post is a quick one just showing you the make-up look I wore today! I wore my new MAC lipstick in Dodgy Girl from their lastest collaboration with Sharon and Kelly Osbourne, which I am absolutely loving! In this post you can see it on my lips in all its glory but generally speaking I tend to wear it with a brown or nude lipgloss over it to tone down the colour slightly - it still looks beautiful!
So here's today's make-up look:

I decided to keep the rest of my look fairly simple as the lipstick is the key focus of the look. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any decent photographs of my eye make-up, so the one I have here doesn't really do it justice! I chose a simple, soft purple look blended with Urban Decay's Buck eyeshadow. I used purples that were quite lightly pigmented so it probably is hard to tell that they are purple eyeshadows!
Here is a product list for you anyway:

  FACE:
- Maybelline Baby Skin Primer (review here!)
- Bourjois Happy Light Foundation in no.52 Light Beige
- Chanel Éclat Lumiére Highlighter Face Pen in 20 Beige Clair
- Michael Kors Bronze Powder in Beam
- Benefit Dandelion Blush

EYES:
- Kiko Cosmetics Eyebrow Expert Styling Kit in 01
- Essence I Heart Stage Eyeshadow Base
- Urban Decay 'Buck' Eyeshadow (from Naked Palette)
-Kardashian Beauty Kourtney's Kardazzle Palette
- Kiko Cosmetics Colour Fever Eyeshadow Palette in 101 Coral Burgundy
-Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner In Black
- Kiko Cosmetics Ultra Tech Mascara

I have put little red stars on the eyeshadows that I used from each palette!

I used Buck by Urban Decay in the crease, and blended it in using a MAC 217 brush. I applied the light pink shade from the Kiko palette (right) in the inner corners and on the first third of the lid. I then took the Kourtney's Kardazzle palette and placed the shadow on the centre of the lid, making sure to blend it in with the first shade to make a gradient. On the outer part of the lid I took the darker purple from the Kiko palette. I then took my MAC 217 brush again with a little bit of Buck and used it to blend all the eyeshadows together.
Unfortunately this picture doesn't do the eye make-up justice, but I will have better quality pictures for my next make-up of the day post!

Also, if you're unfamiliar with Kiko Cosmetics, it is an Italian brand that is incredibly inexpensive but is amazing quality! I bought my Kiko make-up from their shop in Venice but here is their website if you're interested in purchasing some products for yourself: http://www.kikocosmetics.com/ - I'd highly recommend them!

And finally the star of the show - MAC's 'Dodgy Girl' lipstick! This stunning matte lilac shade is part of Kelly Osbourne's limited edition collection for MAC, which is available now! I absolutely adore this lipstick shade, it's so fun and can be made wearable for day-to-day looks by just adding a brown or nude gloss on top.
The last time I checked my local MAC counter, this shade was sold out but if you can find it at your MAC counter it'll set you back €21.50.

  1. I really like this lip color. I want to try something similar but am weary about such a bold color on myself. You make it look easy. And your eyes look flawless!
